The Good, The Bad and The Queen

The Good, The Bad and The Queen est le nom du projet de Damon Albarn, Tony Allen (Circus), Simon Tong (The Verve / blur / Gorillaz) et Paul Simonon (The Clash). Les 4 compères travaillent sur ce projet depuis 2002. La sortie de l'album, produit par Danger Mouse, est attendue début 2007. Un single devrait débarquer dès cet automne.

Un concert aura lieu le 26 octobre à l'occaison de "Live At The Electric Proms", organisé par la BBC à Roundhouse (Londres).

2 nouvelles dates de concerts dixit le journal "This is Devon" :
Britpop renaissance man Damon Albarn (Blur and Gorillaz) is to play two intimate Devon gigs with new band The Good, The Bad and The Queen.A limited number of tickets go on sale this Saturday (September 23) from 10am for gigs at The Exeter Club (Saturday, October 21) and Ilfracombe's Marlboro Club (Sunday October 22) - just days before the band's debut at the Electric Proms (Thursday, October 26).
Bristol promoter Dave Brayley said: "These are obviously very small shows to give punters a chance to see them like any new band in a close environment."
The Good, The Bad and The Queen bring together the ferocious talents of Paul Simonon (The Clash), Tony Allen (Fela Kuti), Simon Tong (Verve) and Mike Smith.
