Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon have performed onstage together for the first time in nearly a decade at the Shockwaves NME Awards tonight (February 25).
Taking to the stage as a last-minute surprise at the ceremony held in London's O2 Academy Brixton, the Blur bandmates were greeted with hysteria from a crowd including the likes of Alex Turner, The Killers, The Cure and MGMT.
The performance of 'This Is A Low', from their band's 1994 classic album 'Parklife', was the first time that guitarist Graham Coxon has taken the stage with his school friend since 2000, before he quit the group in 2002.
As exclusively revealed by NME.COM in December, the full Blur line-up has reformed for a series of summer shows, including two massive homecoming gigs in Hyde Park in July.

Pete Doherty has won Best Solo Artist at the Shockwaves NME Awards tonight (February 25).
The star received his award at the O2 Academy Brixton in London from Blur's rhythm section, Alex James and Dave Rowntree.
Doherty watched by his former bandmate in The Libertines, Carl Barat, who was in the room with another of his former groups, Dirty Pretty Things.
Blablabla
No video footage to bring you just yet (you'll have to watch Channel 4 on Friday night/Saturday morning) but tonight's secret special guests just played the most astonishing version of this:
I've always thought 'This Is A Low' was Blur's best song - and to see it performed here, acoustically, by two men who haven't shared a stage for the best part of nine years, backed up by the voices of a by-now majorly sozzled Academy crowd, was pretty breathtaking.
Pete Doherty looked pretty choked up - I spotted him filming it on his mobile.

You thought you'd escaped, well, guess what ? Nobody escapes.
